Hello everyone!
I just wanted to post a quick update on my progress and I'm glad to say I feel a whole lot better! Boy oh boy were the "60's" a doozy! I mainly attribute my struggles to the mold that's not only been on my boat but I was also living in a basement apt which started to get mold. It seems I haven't been able to get away from it for the past few years! its been in the last two homes in which I lived and due to poor circulation of air on this ship, we've had our fair share on here as well. (Currently on ship)
I chose to up my milligrams of ALA to 50mgs and I'm glad I did. I'm the first one to preach not to get too froggy with going up too high, too fast due to so many people (including myself) having setbacks. But the name of the game is upping the mgs when the body is ready. I have been chelating while struggling with mold toxicity which brings on an onslaught of its on problems! As if being mercury poisoned isn't enough! While on round, I could feel that my body was ready. One positive thing was the glimpses of vividness while dreaming. I don't dream but with ALA being able to cross the BBB (Blood brain barrier) it felt good to remember some of my dreams after waking.
Food sensitivities are very minimal. I'm sure I'd see much more of an improvement if my diet was more paleo type, excluding grains, glutens and sugars but as a sailor there is not much of an option, I eat what gets served so I have to deal with it. Basically, I deal with about 20 minutes of coughing and clearing my throat if I eat lots of bread, sugar, grains or glutens, a very slight bit of brain fog but not crippling as it used to be.
I'm super excited my toe nails have returned to a normal color! They basically looked like I dropped cinder blocks on them due to candida. I was prescribed fluconazole and I was also taking oil of oregano and lots of probiotics. mission accomplished! I'll take the little gains as they come!
My memory is improving but still an issue. Its not nearly as bad as it was but still hindering me in my desire to become a marine engineer. The test is five tests, 70 questions each test. Question, multiple answer. You have to study from a pool of 10,000 questions. An FAA pilot has three tests and a pool of 3000 questions so its not easy for a normal person let alone someone who has mercury poisoning!
My supplements I'm not really having to take all that much. Vitamin C doesn't help much, I was in desperate need of magnesium but I found I'm at a place where I cannot notice much of a difference. Me "needing" to take probiotics isn't all that much of a necessity. Coming from a guy who had to take 30 different types of pills to function on a day to day basis. I'm pretty regular and can go the bathroom sometimes 3, 4 times a day. the only issue is noticing critters in the toilet which brings me on to my next issue...
I'm dealing with an onslaught of parasites right now. I have the basics to keep them at bay but as soon as I get off the boat, I'm going to order some Humaworm, I've read enough testimonials from the Humaworm page that I know that's the road I want to take. I very much look forward to get rid of those little buggers!
That's all I've got for now folks! I'll update a YouTube video as soon as I'm off the boat.
In Christ,
Joe R

Round 65 complete
Finished round 65 and I'm dead smack in the middle of full fledge panic attack! I'm two days off the round. I've been on 25/25 mgs of DMSA/ALA and figured it was high time to bump it up and boy was I wrong! I felt like this one other time. Right when I started and got froggy and did 100 mgs of DMSA and 100 of ALA every 2 hrs for 3 straight days. There is no way I'm going to be healed by 100 rounds if I feel this bad at 65. I bumped it up to 37.5 mgs of DMSA and 31 mgs of ALA. Not a significant increase but I just wasn't ready to go up. Rather that or what I'm experiencing has nothing to do with that. I do not have any adrenal cortex but just ordered some. The only thing is I'm on the boat with 3 weeks left so no more rounds for me until the dust settles and I can figure this out!
I really feel like throwing in the towel and justr giving up right now but know there are hills and valleys and I hope not to remain in this valley much longer.

Round 60 Complete !
Hey all you mercury mercenaries! I just wanted to update my blog that 60 rounds on the A/C protocol are complete. The two most significant improvements are my chemical sensitivities, food intolerances and Candida are for the most part in the rear view mirror. My brain fog can be controlled with my supplements where as when I first started I couldn't seem to get out from under it. When I'm on point with my supps, I'm pretty clear headed. I feel that I'm running on 5 of the 6 cylinders...About 75% roughly, depending on the day. Rounds are still hard to get in. I'm still working on ships and 7 days a week;12 hrs a day will break any man down. Also my charisma toward work has picked up. I use to feel the black cloud of depression and despondency and there is a pep in my step. Wanting to make sure my duties are well taken care of and I'm doing my part as a sailor on board.
I picked up woodworking as a hobby and fell in love! I built a work table for a friend, a tree house for my friends kids as well as chicken pen. I'm more than impressed of the work that I did and as Chelation helps my cognitive abilities, I look forward to taking on more challenging projects....Who knows, maybe someday, I'll have my own shop!
With the gains I've noticed I don't think 100 rounds to completely being healed is too far fetched of a hope. For right now, Its round 61 that I'll focus on tackling next! ;)
In Christ,
Joey

Round 56 complete!
Well, It is official! I am, hands down the slowest chelator on the planet ! I just found out an onslaught of my issues were mold on the boat that I've been on has been causing me some pretty unfavorable reactions to say the least. Ive been on this boat for two years and it took someone else to point it out that due to the humidity, we may have a mold issue. ure enough, that's why I haven't been able to chelate. Fortunately/unfortunately, I have a job andhave to pay bills so have to deal with the mold but hey ! I'm paying off some debt ! =) They put me in a room with little to no mold problems so I was good to do a round and just completed round 56. I should be waaay past round 100, Some symptoms have resurfaced but only by a fraction of what they were. I also believe a good portion of them is due to the mold. I have a bottle with me now and I'm going to attempt another round in a few days. Once I'm back on a regular schedule of 3 days on-3 days off, I'll have a better idea of where I'm at. I'm currently on 12.5/12.5 of DMSA/ALA. There is a slight feeling of something going on while on round and not too much redistribution. I probably could up the mgs but being that I work in the engine room on a ship, I cant afford too many episodes of mercury affecting the way I think and feel during redistribution. So that's all Ive got. I hope ill be back on track shortly and have better stories of victory.

About to attempt round 54
Well folks ! Im still in the fight. I did however have to take some MUCh needed time off. As I was chelating, I was experiencing some shooting pains in my kidney area. Possibly my liver as well. I realized I started "backsliding" in the way of chelation. All of the old symptoms started resurfacing. Mainly with my brain fog. My candida issues have mostly cleared up. No more itchy scratchy after eating gluten/sugar. It will mess up my digestive system. I went to a holistic MD in Asheville and he ran my blood. I was high in iron so I donated blood per request of the good doctor and I also came back with H.Pylori which is a bacteria in the gut. He put me on antibiotics to kill the H.Pylori and hopefully its gone. I also have been eating lots of probiotics to reflourish the flora in my gut due to the antibiotics which kills off both good and bad. I feel bette3r than I had when I was chelating. I think I allowed my body time to heal and its back at it again. But I've learned my lesson. Its slow and steady from here on out. I purchased 12.5 mgs of DMSA and 12.5 mg of ALA compounded from Living networks. Its easier, one pill every three hours and I'm done. Hopefully I can get 20 or 30 rounds in the upcoming year !

Round 53 complete
My apologies for not keeping up with this blog. Whats the purpose of having a blog and not keeping up with it? My confession is Mainly because of discouragement. I didn't plan on being at this place in my life.38, single, mercury poisoned. I sit here typing this, completely chained up by this shiny little metal that has invaded my cells and causes the nubrial fibers to hinder my neurons to process an intelligent thought. I was doing fairly well. I would say, As I have said in this blog as well as my Youtube video's...I felt that I was on the road to recovery. So what happened? As I was doing what I'm told to do to recover, I feel like I was repoisoned. I'm back at square one. Brain fog is at full capacity. Emotions are unstable. (thought I was over that) Candida just plain sucks. I can't take my socks off because my toenails are all kinds of nasty. My only explanantion for this is my body released a pool of mercury that was lodged somewhere that my body placed to protect itself from its toxic effects. As I was peeling back the layers of mercury poisoning, I disturbed this pool of mercury and it was too much for me to handle, hence why I feel like I'm back at square one. I can only hope and pray that this story has a good ending. I haven't chelated in three weeks. Do to how I feel, I feel I have scale it back in the mgs so that redistribution wont be so bad.
I just came out of a movie theater, I watched "Lucy" In the movie, the woman was able to use 100% of her brain and could do some pretty cool things. I don't need to use 100% I believe I'll be able to do that in heaven. I want the level that everyone else uses. People read books and inspire other people through communication. Being able to use a part of their brain that I cannot. Interestingly enough, I am not the only one. I signed onto this blog tonight and saw how many people had viewed this blog. It was in the 8000's. 8000 people....That's a lot of people. Searching the web on why they feel the way that they do. A shiny little metal that invades cells and wreaks havoc on every area of our lives. Many of us cannot have normal relationships, Many of y'all cannot work. (Its only by the mercy and grace of Jesus Christ that can myself) I wonder how many people have committed suicide due to all the pain this shiny little metal has put us through. I'm going to fight this with everything I have within me, I will not let this toxic metal have dominion over me.
Its late, I'm tired...I'm going to bed.

Round 48 complete.
Just posting a quick update. I finished round 48, its been about a month and I'm currently on round 49. Ive been experiencing a lot off illness. Its seems I'm super susceptible to virus's/colds. I live down stairs from a family that has 5 kids. When I'm home, I'm always up there, hanging out and enjoying the fellowship of my two friends who are the parents of the five little ones. Ive had pneumonia, strep throat twice. Also Ive getting absolutely slammed with allergies. I live in Western North Carolina and the pollen is really bad so I shut down as soon as I get home. My lungs have been really bad. its almost as I grew into asthma. Ive never had had asthma before?
I've been at sea for the past 10 days and attempted one round and failed at taking my dose so I took three days off. I hope to finish this round strong and possibly get one or two more in before I can get off this boat.
I have found significant relief in my brain fog. I added a few things to the arsenal of supplements/ Ashwagandha root (in the form of tea) has been my go to for this. I've also been taking Lithium oroate. I've also been taking Iodine which is suppose to help with excretion of mercury. I'm not sure how exactly, only that when one is chelating, they're excretion increases significantly.
Due to experiencing frequent illnesses and being at sea, its been slow in the way of chelation but I'm still in the fight. I appreciate all the emails I've been getting. Its a blessing to know that I have helped people in this fight against HG poisoning. Please refer to joey.ruggiero@gmail.com if you'd like to contact me, That's my main email address and check that more often.

Round 40 complete !
Hey ya'll !
I just want to send out a quick update to let people know I'm still in this fight and beginning to make some real head way...
Over all things are better. Mercury does not have a grip on me as it once did. It completely ruled and ruined my life, But I'm starting to gain the upper hand. Imagine a kid walking home from school and every day getting beat up by the same kid. For a long time, I was that little kid who was too scared to fight back so I just took its abuse. but one day, I had enough and put the book bag down and put the dooks up ! the merc monster still gets the upper hand but Ive knocked him down a few times and with every round, I'm getting stronger and its getting weaker !
Some of the symptoms that I have seen improvement in are for 1) the brain fog....still my biggest complaint. I work in the engineering department on ships. It is only by the grace of God I was able to keep my job due to how bad my memory was in times past but I've noticed my ability to remember things that 2-3 years ago I could not. I always forgot where I parked my car...No longer a problem.
Also my grammar skills are getting better. I still misspell words as I'm sure I will in this post, but there were times the letters on the keyboard might as well been in Chinese.
Emotions have also cleared significantly. The days of doom and gloom for no apparent reason have pretty much passed. I remember the depression was so bad I almost started charging it rent but its just no longer an issue. Thank God ! =)
Anger on round as well as off still come but if you could imagine the hair test analysis sheet with all our symptoms in the left hand corner, I was in the red in everything. ( Not minerals but symptoms ;)
but they are about half with another half way to go.
I'm currently on 25 mg of DMSA and 9.5 of ALA. I need to go up next round, I have to keep it low because I cant afford to deal with the redistribution whilst at sea. I'm going to bump up the ALA to 12.5 my next round and order some more DMSA. I'll probably bump that up to 30 mg.
I'm guessing I'm probably a 70 or 80- rounder. When I'm at 100 mg of both DMSA and ALA and I can do rounds with no side effects, I will do the suggested 6 months of rounds after no side effects but for now I'll work on finishing with round 41 ! =)
Grace and Peace,

Round 34 down.
This round kind of took the motivation to be at work. The brain fog is losing its grip but still noticeable to my co-workers. Anger was the worst it's ever been. I'm surprised my head didn't just explode from anger. I hope when I get home, I can get some juice fasting done to possibly kill off this candida and parasites. I have mold issues in my home so I'll be moving out in January. I'm hardly there anyway, with the colder weather coming, it shouldn't pose a problem. I just have to get rid of my couch and clean the house from top to bottom with a mask. I hate this mercury affecting my life and look forward to the day it's gone.

round 33 complete.
As usual, its been a long time since I've posted anything on here. Chelation has been quite a struggle for me. Being a sea going man in my occupation its not always favorable for a mercury poisoned guy to get a round in so I'm always having to hold off rounds but I think I'm in a good stride with chelation. I finshed round 33 whilst at sea and I actually just started round 34. I find that things are more difficult when stopping chelation for a period of time and then picking it back up. Its as if chelation clears some areas that mercury has caused , whether it being physical, emotional or mental. The physical is mainly asthmatic symptoms when eating Gluten as well as causing itchy rashes on my skin. The soles of my feet get it the worst. It itches uncontrollably and I have to itch till it bleeds and then limp around for a day or two but its better than the feeling of a deep itch. Gluten and especially sugar causes the worst reactions. When I'm not on ship and I'm sticking to my Paleo type diet this clears up significantly. The emotional ,I had thought was behind me ,but due to a major setback with an attempt at round 20 with DMPS, it brought everything right back as if the merc monster was saying "Yep, I'm still here! " The anger is also back but mainly when I begin a round and from what I've read countless times , this is the DMSA and how it does us mercury folks wrong. The mental is more a obssesiveness. If someone crosses me I can focus on ways I dislike this person in a thousand different ways. So the mind and emotions play off of one another.I don't know whether the brain fog is a mental or physical thing. Most would say its mental but its triggered by foods as well as chemicals but being that we have neurons in our digestive tracts, it may be a bit of both. I know once the mercury passes the blood brian barrier, it degenerates the nubrial fibers, hindering the neurons from sending messages so that we can thunk an intelligent thought. I really want my brain cells back. mercury is bunkered down in my brian, in a foxhole and those silver little suckers are just not giving up their position! Their coming out whether they like it or not!
I felt pretty bad last night. I was three days off round and had a cup of coffee and it was one of the best cups of coffee Ive ever had. I felt great. I feel like it cleared something in my endocrine system and made me feel happy happy happy! I told a friend, coffee to me is like russian roulette. I can drink a cup and feel great from it and other times it will give me panic attacks.
A new thing while chelating is insatiable thirst. I mean, I have never drank this much water in my life. I wake up at night with pains in my body because I'm so thirsty. I roll over , grab a bottle of water, the bottle does not leave my lips until its completely gone and I roll over to go back to sleep only to wake up for another dose and another bottle of water. I just started adding sea salt to my meals this morning. I also took some adrenal cortex and whichever it was, I'm not thirsty anymore. So I'll do both until I can get off here and figure it out from home.
So thats it in a nutshell. I would praobably say I'm half way done. Maybe I'm a 60 or 70 rounder. I'm definitely not what I was, in a good way. But not where I want to be.My learning ability has increased noticibly. I can put the plant on system.i.e. fire the ship up all by myself with little to know help. this is a 315 ft diesel/electric ship and is difficult for anyone to learn and I've learned it to a point where my bosses have recognized it and frequently tell me job well done. I'm a year away from my license, Lord willing. The test is extremely hard, even for the highly intelligent so I'm going to have to start hitting the books and not long from now, I'll be a licensed officer. A dream that would blow me away if it ever came true !
I believe if I could get a 3-7 day juice fast in, it would knock out a good portion of this candida and my skin issues would all but vanish. Also, I believe that it would clean out a lot of unseen things. Parasites, cleansing of detox pathways etc etc that would set my chelation in high gear. I just have to get home and not succumb to going over peoples homes and eating forbidden foods.
Thats all I've got for now folks,
In Christ,
Joe R

Currently on round 30
Well, Here I am. I'm currently on round 30 of the Andy Cutler protocol. I t'm taking 25 mg of DMSA and 6.25 mg of ALA. If you've read any of my past posts you'd see that my mg's were higher at one point but due to a bad reaction to DMPS around round 20 or so, I felt I was repoisoned and it set me back some. I'm just now starting to feel like I'm approaching where I was four months ago. My mind started to clear, Brain fog has been my biggest gripe. Still is. I don't know how long this will take but I know it's working and thats all that matters. I'm dreaming almost every night now. There are moments when I'll have that real heavy brain fog where you can't remember anything but those moments are far better than where I was when I first started this journey. Those moments where my constant state of reality. I read a blog the other day from Aine, the author of "Getting the Mercury out" and she's for the most part done. She has no ill affects from the mercury and is going on with her life and leaving all that mercury has done to her behind. That sounds very appealing to me. I'm sick of this little reality that I live in. Its a reality to me but to those around me its some foolish thing I got sucked into believing. Its even harder when you know someone who is struggling with the effect that mercury has on them and they sweep it under the rug as foolishness. I've been more quiter about my poisoning lately. I'm thinking another year and I hope to be done like Aine is. I work on ships but my first love is Christ. Those who are mercury suffers know how the gloom of the toxic metal can really weigh you down, feeling depressed and moody, unintelligent. Unable to be in normal relationships. I was at a friends house last time I was home, a very well rounded family. I was building them a chicken coop and ended up staying for dinner. As they laughed and joked and enjoyed the night, engaging in intelligent conversations I sat there and did my best to fit in. Their my Christian family and I love them but oh how I long to have my heart in mind in the conversations instead of just spacing out. This also affects my relationship with God. Not His drawing close to me, only my understanding of His love and grace in my life. Mercury is a very dark cloud, a cloud thaty clouds the mind and emotions with negaitve emotions. One of the things that Aine had said in her blog is that their are no more "weird" emotions. I'm ready to move on with my life.
Ive set a goal in my life when this mercury is gone. I don't know if it's Gods will but my desire to go out on a Christian missionary ship for 6 months to 1 year is something that has been growing in me.
Hopefully, That si something that will happen ! =)

Round 26 and 27 done.
I have got to be the slowest chelator in the world ! As I was typing in the address to my blog I was thinking about how long it has been since amalgam removal. This September it will be 3 years since I had the 2nd most toxic element on the planet removed from my teeth. It did however take me sometime after that till I found the Cutler protocol. I should be on my 50th or 60th round but do to my work I have to go slow, slow and steady is the name of the game.
I'm currently on the 28th round and this being the fourth attempt, my most epic fail at any round to this date. I slept past a round twice, once forgot if I took a dose and by accident took another dose and my next dose would have caused redistribution becuase the prior dose was doubled, releasing more mercury and the next dose , there just wasn't enough chelator to grab it all. and my mercury poisoned mind can't remember the fourth reason.
I can say that improvements are there. Though I feel the mercury affecting my life, it's not as strong as it used to be. I still struggle looking for words, My emotions still can get out of whack but as I explained to a friend via email. In Nov. of 10' I was laid off from my job. I would get panick attacks, I was extremely insecure in my work performance, days I just couldn't look at any body in the eye. My desire to be left alone just cried out but being that I work on ships, there's no where to go, so I had to fake the funk. Back then on a scale of 1-10. 1 being very minimal effects by the mercury, hardly noticable and 10 being hospitilized for panic attacks and depression. I was an 8 in 2010. Today I'm a 4-5. Today felt like a 6. But there are days when I'm home I'm feeling like a 2-3.
The one thing I noticed is my ability to dream has been pretty consistant. Call it 4 days a week.
Even though the brain fog is still an issue, I think in 20 rounds from now I'm going to see some pretty tremendous gains.
The Candida comes and goes, right now its not bothering me all that much. While I'm on ship I can't stay away from Gluten. I simply eat what they feed me, I try to stick to a Paleo type diet and when I'm home, I'm very strict with my diet.
Just glad there's light at the end of the tunnel, looking forward to being mercury free !

Round 25 complete.
Well, once again, it's been awhile since I've posted anything on here. A lot has happened since I've last posted. I've been through a few rounds and havent posted so I'll give a short summary and catch yall up to speed.... I purchased some DMPS from Detoxi-tab and did round twenty;30 mgs every 6-8 hrs and felt great ! My mind was and emotions were clear, I felt it was easy sailing from there on out, boy was I wrong ! I was home and I wanted to save the rest of the DMPS for while I'm at sea so I did two rounds of DMSA/ALA(50 mg of DMSA and 10 mg ALA) and that went well...I came back out for another hitch and had a really bad reaction to the DMPS...I mean really bad !!! Tongue was covered in canker sores. I could barely talk. My bottom lip swelled and even blistered. I had a rash that was unbearable. To say the least I wont be taking DMPS ever again. I posted my symptoms on Yahoo Frequent dose chealtion group and even got a response from Andy suggesting that I never take DMPS again. I figure the guy must know what he's talking about, so its back to the drawing board. I'll stick to what got me this far...Frequent low dose DMSA/ALA.
I believe I might have said in my last post I moved or was considering on moving . Anyhow, it was heavy on my heart to get away and spend time with Jesus and focus on my healing so I packed up the Civic and left South Florida in the rear view and said hello to the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. I absolutely love it there. Its a place that fits me perfectly. I love the mountains, The nature of it all. Its a place I hope to live out my days until the Lord calls me home. Even though I'm totally blessed by where God has placed me It has been a struggle also This is not an easy road. Mercury poisoning is a nasty illness that strips you of happiness. You could be surrounded by beauty and in your heart and mind you feel dark and gloomy...That darkness and gloominess that we who are mercury poisened know all too well. Every area of your life is affected. Your mind, your emotions as well as your physical body. It literally strips you of the vibrancy that life has to offer.
I'm writing this from sea. I've been at sea for two weeks. I just completed round 25 while out here and got knocked through a loop. There was a time long long ago that sailors punishment for a wrong done would get tied up with a long rope, thrown off the bow(The front, for all you land lovers;) of the ship as it was underway and the person would tumble under the ship as it sailed along and when you came out from under the ship as it literally sailed right over you, they would pull you back onto the ship....yeah, I kinda felt like that the past few days. I kept the mg's to a minimum but the redistribution was terrible. I haven't felt brain fog so bad since I had my amalgams still in. Diet plays such a huge roll in our healing. This is the second time I've done a round while on this boat and both times had some pretty tragic experiences. When I'm home , Its not like this.when I am home and on round, I don't experience that bad of redistribution. My theory is this, I'm juicing all green organic vegetables every day , eating organic proteins, so I'm receiving the proper nutrients my body needs due to being depleted both from the mercury doin'what it do and chelating the heavy metals which is also stripping the body of the essential minerals required to maintain a healthy life, but while at sea, my body is not receiving the proper nutrients. I really don't have that much of a choice in my diet, I eat what they give me. A lot of what they feed us is a gluten, sugary, fried, GMO grown stuff. So fair to say I wont be chelating while I'm out here, but I will be hitting it hard while I'm home. .... I'll try and keep this blog updated with how I'm doing...I'm home in a few weeks ,When I do get home, Ill post another video on Youtube as well ! :)

update.
In short, I threw in the towel over the past 3 months and lost some serious chelation time. Its absolutely impossible to chelate while at sea so I lived my life as if Mercury poisoning just didnt exhist and we who are mercury poisoned know that just isnt possible. For a long time I've wanted to escape to the mountains of North Carolina and focus mainly on my relationship with God but take a good overall look at my life, My faith, my health, my finances....Take a good honest soul searching of myself. To wrestle with God as Jacob did and prevail. Time to get real in all aspects of my life. I head back out to sea on Thursday the 20th. I take off from South Florida on Monday, unpack my things and head to work for a month...Then it begins. I plan on finding an MD/Naturopath so I can start DMPS so I'll be able to chelate while at sea. New journeys are many of life's are blessings from God, just as long as He is the center of our desires.

Round 18 complete.
Well, I just completed round 18. I'm on my 2nd day off round and it took this long for redistribution to set in. It started with being really edgy, then that turned into being downright angry. Then the dull ache that settles behind my head and down my shoulders. I first began this round when I first got off ship. I tried 50mg of DMSA and 60 mg of ALA. I got three doses into it and realized that It was waaay too much. while on ship I attempted to do rounds and got one under my belt. 25mg of DMSA only. It was great. The engine room is really hot so I sweat a lot. As I attempted to do more rounds, sleep become a problem and I can't afford to be tired while on ship so I scrapped chelating while at sea...maybe I'll attempt to do 1 every hitch. When I got back from being out at sea, my tolerance or detox pathways for some reason couldnt handle the larger doses. I guess I cant go from high doses to lower ones. So this round, because the 1st attempt was too high a dose I went low again....low for me. 25 mg of DMSA and 25 MG of ALA. It felt wonderful. I was able to clear ou a lot of the brain fog as well as the unwanted emotions...Still a bit edgy at times but thats expected. So I think I'm gonna stay a bit low this time. No rushing. I was up to 100 mg of DMSA and 120 mg of ALA but it really knocked me through a loop. panick attacks for two straight days, no bueno ! =)
I've been contemplating on moving for the remainder of my chelation. I'm more of an out doorsy guy...I love the mountains and with my job I'm blessed enough to live anywhere in the U.S. So I'm contemplating Western north Carolina. I don't know when or even "if"that'll happen. even though I have that desire, its God who directs my steps. I'm steadily praying, seeking His face in whether this is my emotions wanting to move or this is His Spirit calling me to come and rest awhile. Those who know what its like to be sick from the effects of mercury poisoning can understand the desire to come away to a place of rest and do that very thing. My rest is in God and though I can do that anywhere. There's something appealing about being in the mountains, taking in the fresh, crisp mountain air. Just spending time with Jesus, As a husband and a wife who takes a break from everything and goes to a place of beauty and paradise, soaking in all that is around them as they reconnect with one another so I desire to do with God.
I have one more day off round and I'm going to try and bang out 2 rounds, back to back....6 straight days. That will bring me to finishing round 20 which a Youtube video would be due ;)

Update with Chelation progress.Round 17 down.
Hey everybody, Sorry I wasn't able to post any updates. I just got home from being out to sea. I got one round in and another 1/2 days of chelation...probably about 3 of those. I'm not gonna count those 1/2 days for anything. Sleep is crucial while on ship. I don't know if I can chelate while I'm out there. There where times when the brain fog would hit me hence why I chelated 1/2 days...something was better than nothing. There is a lot of responsibility with my job and having to stay focused while transferring fuel is crucial....Changing generators is also smething one has to stay sharp on or the ship could go dark and that wouldnt be a good thing at all !!! ;)
over all, it wasnt that bad. I would say that God had totally blessed me with this ship as well as my ship mates. My Chief engineer is a Christian so thats a blessing.I had both the Chief and the Captain ask me if I was willing to stay. Its good for a man to work, work hard and be acknowledged for your'e efforts. Very thankfulto God for this one.
So I'm back...Today is the 1st day of chelation. Just took my first dose 47 minutes ago. I'll update when I'm done on this round. Also when I hit 20 rounds down I'll post a Youtube video.
Blessings, Joe <><

Update while off round.
I just wanted to share with ya'll what I've been going through while off round this time. I started a round about two weeks ago that lasted six days. I got a job working on ships and really wanted to step up my game and really start getting aggresive in my chelation in the hope that my brain fog symptoms would get clearer...I couldn't have been more wrong, actually the opposite happened. My brain fog has been thick in a way it hasnt been in a really long time. When I began my round, I upped my DMSA to 100 mg and kept my ALA at 120 mg. I began dosing every two hours verses every three. While I was on round I felt pretty good. other than a few side effects with emotions, there was no complaints...This redistribution somehow distributed more mercury into my brain than I expected....I go out to sea tomorrow. I'm constantly looking for words, forgetting everything...The pressure from my brain fog is pretty intense. I noticed that one symptom has returned. My brian fog would be effected depending on the foods I ate, after the first ten rounds or so that disappeared. I just had some chicken and vegetables and its amazing I'm even typing this. Also I experienced some pretty severe panic attacks. That has went away, not fully, but to a place where i can be in public if I have to. I have one a friend that doesn't believe my problems are Mercury related so I can't share with him anything I'm going through which makes it worse,I shared with him I was going through a panic attack and he brushed off mercury as the problem and had asked me if I was willing to see a therapist. I cant understand why people are so hesitant to believe that mercury is toxic ? My emotions are waaaay out of whack which after the 14th round I was pretty stable in that area. So to say the least I've regressed significantly by trying to be too aggressive. My friend Sean has told me that its a marathon not a sprint...slow and steady wins the race. why am I always the guy that has to learn the hard way...I had my fillings removed Sept of 10' started the Cutler protocol four months ago and right now I feel like I did before I had my amalgams removed...From now on It is slow and steady, progress, not perfection.
Hills and valleys expected, but I sure wish this was a shout from the mountain instead of one from the valley, but this is where we learn....in the valley is where things grow.

Round 15 & 16 finished.
Well, I got back from being out at sea and wanted to get pretty agressive in my chelation so I made a big order of DMSA and it was waiting here for me when I got home. I upped my doses to 100 mg of DMSA and I believe my last couple of rounds was with 50 mg of DMSA and 120 of ALA so 120 mg of ALA is maxed out as well as the 100 mg of DMSA.( I couldn't afford anymore than that) I also started dosing every two hours vs. every three, which took a lot of the emotional and physical complications I was having away.I just chelated for 6 straight days. 3 days being a round so 3x's 2=6 hence 15 & 16th round complete ;)This is my 1st day off and the redistribution isn't all that bad. My only gripe is my Candida came back to pay me a little visit, I thought that was pretty much gone. I would say a good portion of that is my own laziness in feeding the candida with Gluten and sugars. While on ship, you eat whats there but I know I could be more aware of my dietery needs. I'll try harder I guess ;) ,
Hills and valleys.... There are times that the cognitive function of my brain is showing significant improvements and other times I can hardly finish a sentence. I was told if I keep my Gluten intake down, My memory will improve. This seems like an impossible task for me being that I work on ships in the Gulf, most cooks are cajun and cook everything fried. Lots of shrimp and catfish, which I avoid anything from the sea due to not wanting any mercury in my system. Right now, I have a good amount of fatigue...definitely due to the Cookie crunch frappachino ar Starbucks I indulged in about an hour ago. It wipes me out. I must become vigilant in my diet. I also realized that my digestive system acts up while on round... I always new this but never attributted it fully to the mercury. I just took two weeks off of chelation while on ship, ate what I wanted and was pretty regular, Got home, began chelating and low and behold my movements ain't moving nowherez !...As soon as I got off round. I got back to being regular. I did up my intake of magnesium and vitamin C and that helped some. other than that, thats all I've got. Also, still dealing with the anger while on rounds. I'm glad this is only due to the Chelation because I would never want to always be angry like that. It hinders from relationship with friends. me no likey, I feel when I'm around people, they don't want me around. Like I'm different and they notice it. Like I don't fit in. I know this is the mercury because its in every book I've read up on the subject. We feel weird, socially. Its are emotions being effected by the 2nd most toxic element on the planet hitting are brain and endocrine system and giving us these feelings....The bad news is, for the most of us who has been poisoned since we were children,(Like myself) after the mercury is out we have to learn some social interaction skills. Dr Pompa says that he notices that he is not as social as he used to be, even after he was done chelating and had to learn how to be comfortable in social gatherings again. The sooner this stuff is out, the better ! I have 6 days till I go back out to sea. I have 2 & 3/4 bottles of 100 mg of DMSA and one bottle of 25 mg... a bottle of ALA as well. I'm gonna go light while out there but chelate nontheless. probably drop it down to 25 mg of DMSA and 25-30 mg of ALA. it feels good to come down a bit. Its a pleasant pulling of the mercury, =)
till next time, Joey <><

Round 14 complete.
Just a quick update while I was out at sea. I just finished a round on 25 mg of DMSA only. I chose to do so low a dose from my usual 50 mg of DMSA and 120 of ALA so I wouldn't have to deal with redistribution and I'd have to say how pleasant it was. Also, as soon as I took it, I went to sleep and when I woke up from my alarm, I was pondering the dream I just had. The funny thing is, I'm one of those Mercury poisoned people that does not dream....Or at least I don't remember them. At least once or twice during a shift I sweat right through my clothes, so if one way of excreting Mercury is through sweating, I should be done chelating in just a few hitches ! ;) I didn't want to Chelate while I was on ship but I had gained enough confidence in my performance at work that I figured I could deal with a little ole' 25 mg of DMSA...I plan to do so every time I'm on ship. I know the argument is that DMSA does not cross the blood brain barrier but I beg to differ, I'm no scientist, nor am I a chemist but the dreaming thing was more than enough for me to believe that DMSA can in fact cross the blood brain barrier. The very first round I ever took was 12.5 mg of DMSA and I dreamt that night. Also there's something to be had about taking a brake. I took some two weeks off and I'd have to say the round was quite pleasant....On the second day I was experiencing slight brain fog but it cleared up today...So now do I chelate with just DMSA or continue with ALA ?.... Being that Cutler believes that ALA is the most beneficial in removing mercury from the brain, I'll continue to do the DMSA/ALA during the rounds. But I also heard Cutler and Dr Pompa talk about doing doses every 2 hours and people not experiencing such harsh redistribution as well as being able to take higher mg of chelators. So when I'm home I'll hit it real hard, 7 day rounds, every two hours. I'm upping my doses to 100 mg of DMSA and sticking with 120 MG of ALA. I don't see myself getting any higher than that. That's expensive enough. Today is Monday, I'm leaving Wednesday. 21 days on/ 21 days off. By Gods grace, I got by this hitch o.k. I learned some things I didn't know before. I was able to grasp some concepts of various different aspects of Marine engineering I didn't know 21 days ago. I'm gonna keep pushing through this, Hopefully some day I'll know everything there is to know about Marine engineering. Oh, How nice it will be to grasp the reigns of intelligence !

Update while at sea.
I'm sitting here pondering all that this mercury has taken from me. Tonight I'll go down in to the engine room. My brain fog might or might not kick in. If it does not, I'll have a good shift. My boss will talk about certain components of this ship and how they work and what I must do to keep this ship as a whole to keep it working efficiently. If I go down below and the mercury happens to take over, Its over before it began. No matter what anyone says to me I won't be able fully comprehend it. I remember pre-mercury. If I didn't know of a certain subject, If I was subjected to it long enough my brain did what it was designed to do and learn, but as one of the symptoms of mercury poisoning the mind, one is incapable of learning anything.I sit here with a tremendous opportunity to make a lot of money. Working anywhere in the oil industry your gonna rack in the dough. This company is building 16 brand new ships and its not the largest in the Gulf. Some 60 or so Oil rigs are suppose to built in the next few years. The only problem I have is that I can't learn how to efficiently do my job if this mercury doesn't come out of my brain. I have 13 rounds in, Cutler says 50 rounds people "Start" to feel themselves again. I was listening to an interview the other day with Cutler and another doctor that used the Cutler protocol because he was poisoned by his amalgams and the doctor quoted something that Cutler had told him, he told him its going to take a good 3-4 years before being at 100%....I don't have that long. I want the magic pill. I want to take one pill and everything return back to as they were pre amalgam. Unfortunately thats not how it works. I'm in this for the long hall...
I'm considering on chelating while on ship. If my brain isn't going to function correctly than there's no reason I should hold back from healing it. I only have enough DMSA for one round @ 25 mg a dose. I was up to 50 mg. I have plenty of ALA, though I'll have to make smaller doses. I have 120 mg pills and last round knocked me through a loop.
Mercury is a horrible element. It takes everything from you. It acts just like sin. its almost impossible to get rid of.(Sin is, apart from the blood of Christ.) Its always there to completely ruin your life.If anyone has been following my posts, they would realize that I haven't been talking all that much about God. My greatest passion my heart has ever experienced I feel I just can't enjoy anymore because of the way mercury has its grip on me. Someone who's brain isn't completely poisoned won't understand how it feels to have someone talking to them and the words are like Snoopy's teacher just gabbing away and the neurons aren't doing their job and putting the words together and confirming a conclusion. its a horrible feeling. I sat on the back deck and the chief mate was telling me and another gentleman about one of the mates that went home. He was complaining about having Lyme disease. Now I know that Lyme disease mirror's mercury poisoning. I know that as they chelate they get better....Maybe this cat doesn't know he's mercury poisoned. The Chief Mate was mocking the lad for such an outrageous claim. It sucks having something that your friends and your family can't have sympathy for because they simply don't believe you. I've talked to people about Mercury and I get that "look." LIke I'm a kook. a whack job. a funny duddy. one who doesn't have all his marbles. When I first came to Christ, I had someone in church prophesy over me that "Through my mouth I will heal many, It's what I had been through and it has to do with children. It says in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 " Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." When one has been afflicted with mercury and all its debilitating effects it has on the body and mind and is healed from those effects, they can't help but share the good news. Its the very reason the Gospel has taken root in every continent and country in the world. People are poisoned by the effects of sin. It dims there whit spiritually and holds them captive to do what ever it so desires and Jesus comes and saves them and heals them and comforts them. They have no other choice but to tell of this great and mighty thing God had done for them.
There is a victory story, One day I will sit on top of the mountain and shout of the healing waters that flows from Jesus. If that happens to be helping people cope with Mercury poisoning or being a Pastor or an elder or an evangelist. One who disciples people on how to get well through the effects of whatever is debilitating them. No matter where He leads me, I hope to do so with His passion.
